Raeisi to present important proposals at OIC meeting

MEHR: President Raeisi will present important proposals in the extraordinary meeting of the leaders of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Riyadh.

"Today, due to the importance of the Gaza issue, an extraordinary summit of heads of Islamic and Arab countries will be held jointly in Riyadh," Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote on his X account.

"The honorable president will present important proposals in the meeting," he said, adding that despite the full presence of the United States in the war with the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza, Netanyahu suffered his second major defeat.

In continuation of the efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran to immediately stop the aggression of the Zionist regime, lift the siege, and start providing aid to the oppressed people of Gaza, Iranian President Raeisi departed for Saudi Arabia to attend the extraordinary meeting of the leaders of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Before leaving Tehran, Raeisi said, "The world should know the real face of the US. We must know the enemy. This meeting is expected by all people, especially the Islamic Ummah."

The United States has prevented the ceasefire in Gaza, president Raeisi said, adding that the root of all the corruption is the United States.
