Iranian, Azeri presidents hold meeting in Uzbekistan
Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev have held a meeting in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on Thursday.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the country's Minister of Energy Ali Akbar Mehrabian were also present at the meeting.
Details of their meeting have not been released so far.
Back in October, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Tehran and Baku agreed on the active development of bilateral relations.
Speaking in a recent press conference, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani said that Iran has various number of issues on its agenda regarding its ties with Baku, including the reopening of the Azeri embassy in Tehran.
