Why the Israeli regime fears activation of West Bank

MEHR: The Al-Aqsa Storm, the operation of the Palestinian Resistance groups in the Gaza Strip against the Israeli regime, has caused a historic shock to the Zionists.

The lack of preparation of the Israeli regime's intelligence agencies caused more than a thousand Zionists to be killed and nearly 150 others captured by the Resistance forces in a few hours.

A journalist has said that the intelligence interpretation of the Israeli regime was that Hamas was training for something that it would never dare to do. He added that It was bad judgment and arrogance. Hamas instead launched an incredibly complex and sophisticated attack from land and sea.

Al-Aqsa Storm showed how vulnerable the Zionist military is to an offensive operation. This vulnerability is an issue that has been repeatedly warned by Zionists in recent years.

Zionist newspapers say that Netanyahu's strategy regarding Iran's nuclear program has also been completely destroyed, and Tel Aviv's relations with the United States are tense as never before. Without the US, which is considered a very important ally of the Israeli regime, it is unlikely that the regime can last even a day.

One of the fronts whose entry into the equations will cause great fear to the Zionists is the West Bank and the raised Resistance in it.

From 2021 until the recent battle in Jenin, at least 3 short-term battles were imposed on Gaza to continue the Wahdat al-Sahat (Unity of the Fields) strategy, two of which were to change the situation or support the Resistance in the Jenin camp. Wahdat al-Sahat (Unity of the Fields) is a strategy proposed by the Islamic Jihad's Secretary-General Ziad al-Nakhaleh, and it means that if something happens in Gaza, al-Quds, or anywhere else related to Palestine, all fronts will join to deal with it.

The experience of the Zionists over the entry of the West Bank into the battles has caused a part of their focus to remain on the West Bank after the Al-Aqsa Storm operation was launched. Within the past few days, several operations have been carried out in the West Bank; However, the large-scale entry of Resistance in the West Bank, such as in the Saif Al-Quds in 2021, will make the Zionists confused and cause a massive increase in casualties.

If the struggle against the Zionists on several fronts is realized, the West Bank can even be the heart of this event and its impact will be greater than the Gaza Strip. What is important is that the Zionist regime's military and officials, apart from their concern about the security and military conditions in the north (Lebanon border) and the Gaza Strip, know that the Jenin Camp can turn into the hub of Resistance as well.

A Zionist reporter quoted former military officers as saying that what is happening in the West Bank is actually a war, because every time Zionist soldiers attack the Palestinian areas in the West Bank, especially Jenin and Nablus, they are shot at. If the West Bank and Jenin enter the battle, the Zionists will face high discontent and individual operations which are difficult to control.
