MEHR: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution says the Islamic Republic of Iran expects the Muslim countries to sever the political and economic relations with the Zionist regime as long as it continues crime against Palestine.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made the remarks while addressing a meeting with a group of ambassadors of Muslim countries and government officials on the auspicious ‘Eid al-Fitr on Wednesday.

The hearts of the nations, even the non-Muslim nations, are with the oppressed of Palestine and Gaza, the Leader said, referring to unprecedented anti-Israel marches in Africa, Asia, Europe, and even the US.

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei called the issue of Gaza an unavoidable issue which is at the top of the issues of the Islamic world.

The Leader also said the current more unfortunate reality in Palestine has caused as the result of the help of some Islamic countries.

By helping the Israel regime, some Islamic states betray to Islamic Ummah and their own countries, he said, adding that because these aids are actually helping to destroy themselves.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also said that the Islamic Republic of Iran expects the Muslim countries to sever the political and economic relations with the Zionist regime as long as it continues crime against Palestinians.
