Martyr Zahedi sacrificed his life for Islam, the Islamic Revolution and the freedom of holy Al-Quds after 43 years of struggle, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri said in the funeral of martyr Zahedi in Isfahan.

He was a comrade and constant assisstant of Martyr Soleimani, Martyr Hamedani, Martyr Imad Mughniyeh and all the great martyrs of the liberation of Al-Quds and confronting the Zionist regime, Bagheri said.

Today, the Israel regime has been stuck in the swamp of the Gaza war, it has no way to end or continue this crime, Bagheri said, adding that after 82 days of war, the people of Gaza continues their resistance.

The future of the war with Gaza is clear, the defeat of the Zionists is certain, he said, adding that getting out of this crisis has become a crisis for the Zionist regime.

Referring to the Zionist regime's attack on Iran's consulate in Syria, he said, "Israel's attack will not go unanswered, we will determine the time of the operation and the type of operation, it will be carried out carefully."
