General Bagheri made the remarks in a meeting with the Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
Saying that this year, the Quds Day will be marked much more magnificently, Bagheri stressed that the Hamas-launched anti-Zionist operation on October 7 blew an irreparable defeat to the Israeli regime.
This operation destroyed the myth of the invincibility of the criminal Israel and turned Palestine into the first issue of the entire world, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Bagheri emphasized that if the Americans had not helped the Zionist regime, the criminal Tel Aviv regime would have collapsed by now.
Haniyeh, for his part, appreciated the support of Iranian statesmen and nation for the Palestinian people.
He also hailed the efforts of martyr Soleimani in supporting the oppressed people.
