MEHR: An official with Iran's Food and Drug Administration (IFDA) explained the most important Iran and Russia joint programs in the field of medicine.

Mohammad Paikanpour, Director General of Drugs and Substances Department at IFDA said that, "In order to cooperate with Russia, it is proposed to set up an action plan based on which the categories of the activities, the person responsible for carrying out the activities, the performance indicators and its schedule have been prepared, which requires major support, both from financial and executive bodies."​

Referring to the meetings between Iranian experts with Russian counterparts to develop mutual cooperation, he stated that the banks that must guarantee the activities of the parties, incentives, industry activists on both sides, the list of drugs that can be cooperated between the two sides, the list of services that can be shared, and the trustworthy centers by both parties have been identified."

He also proposed forming a joint working group to review operational details every two weeks to accelerate the implementation of cooperation between the two sides.
