The commander of the Iranian Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, The commander of the Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, and the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri were present at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rear Admiral Irani said that the Deylaman destroyer, with up-to-date equipment, can contribute to the quality level of the training of troops and rescue operations.

This destroyer is one of the Mowj class destroyers with a weight of 1500 tons, which has many advantages over the previous variants. Earlier this week, Admiral Irani said that the Deylaman is the latest model of the Jamaran destroyer, but with updated equipment.
