MEHR: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has stressed the importance of establishing a stable peace and permanent tranquility in the Caucasus region without foreigners’ interference.

Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks after his Saturday meeting with Iran’s Ambassadors to Armenia and Azerbaijan Republic Mehdi Sobhani and Abbas Mousavi respectively.

As he wrote on X social media platform, the foreign minister, in the meeting, underlined the importance of promoting ties with the two northern neighboring states.

He went on to say that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s foreign policy pays serious attention to the South Caucasus region.
