Following their official meeting, the Iranian and Russian parliament speakers are scheduled to attend a joint press conference.
Holding the third meeting of the Joint High Parliamentary Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation is on the agenda of the trip of the Russian parliamentary delegation to Tehran.
Volodin arrived in Tehran on Sunday evening for a state visit.
The Iranian deputy parliament speaker Ali Nikzad welcomed Volodin and his accompanying delegation at the Mehrabad airport in the Iranian capital.
